Moosburg
Moosburg is in Germany. It was the first city in Germany to have a POW camp during the Second World War. And curiously it was the last POW camp in Germany when the allies liberated the prisoners. The captives had come from all over Germany on a last pilgrimage from all the other camps. The Germans were trying to keep them away from the advancing Russians for fear they could then take up arms and be once again a combatant. The camp was overrun with men by the time they were freed. I visited this place and some of the barracks are still standing and being used as housing and other things. My father-in-law was one of the people waiting there for freedom. This is not one of those lodgings but a nice home in the center of the town. Its stairstep roofline is what attracted me to make this capture, along with the wonderful color contrast of the red against the bright blue. Primary colors RGB.
